This is just a cameo, published the same month of Thor #183.
It’s in the middle of a storyline about the return of Bucky (decades before the Winter Soldier was a thing, of course!). It turns out that it was a robot double, and while initially it looks like it was created by MODOK…
…it was actually built by Doctor Doom, ON A DARE.
Doom takes this WAY too seriously.
He decides to make this Bucky replicate so precise that it can even THINK like the real Bucky.
And that’s all that Doom does in this issue!
The Bucky replicate will be SO perfect that it will sacrifice its life to save Captain America.
None of the usual categories, since this is just a cameo, but it’s interesting to see how little Doom cares for MODOK here when compared to the respect he showed in Sub-Mariner #47.
