This brief backup story is penciled by Norm Breyfogle, mostly known as a Batman artist (he co-created Ventriloquist and Zsasz among others) and for being the co-creator of Prime at Malibu comics.
To my annoyance, it’s yet another short story with Timber Wolf and Lightning Lass… haven’t we suffered enough of those?
Then again, those were mostly back in the day where she was Light Lass and she was a doormat. Now that she’s developed into a more complex character, maybe it won’t be so bad.
Well… she’s not the problem this time.
Timber Wolf. My dude. Please stop, okay? It’s beyond embarrassing at this point.
SHE’S NOT INTO YOU ANYMORE!!!
And I was on Timber Wolf’s side when she left! That was a truly toxic relationship, and her demands were not entirely reasonable.
In fact, Timber Wolf brings out her most unlikeable aspects AGAIN.
Having said that… perhaps she was onto something, because Timber Wolf has been just unbelievably pathetic since she dumped him.
Did we have to waste SIX PAGES on this!?!?!
