In 1971, Jack Kirby left Marvel for DC Comics and created the Fourth World, a larger-than-life new franchise mostly disconnected from superheroes.
In 1976, Jack Kirby left DC Comics for Marvel and created the Eternals, a larger-than-life new franchise mostly disconnected from superheroes.
As it’s to be expected, the two share a lot of similarities… but to consider one a ripoff of the other couldn’t be further from the truth.
Jack Kirby superfans be warned: I am not kind to his writing.
